Roberto Toscano (born 1982) is a Brazilian composer who currently resides in the United States. In 2010 Roberto became the first Brazilian awarded the Takemitsu Composition Prize in Tokyo, Japan. His music has been performed, premiered, and broadcast in South America, North America, Europe, and Asia. Roberto is also the chairman of Nova-Composers; this composition society was founded to help organize new music concerts and events in the United States and abroad.
